TOP 5 SERIES I WANT TO START || ELECTRIC TUESDAY.

Hello good people. Oh, I am in a great mood today. I have been doing good work and great achievements have been hitting my life. So here I am with a new day, new post and new work. This is totally new for me. I saw this post on Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm. So I decided to try it out. You have to check out her posts and follow her if you are not doing that. She is an awesome and great blogger. So without wasting any further time, let’s start, shall we??

I really want to read a few series that I should have started a long time back but I couldn’t because I was waiting and saving up to buy the printed copies of the series. Now that India has stopped delivery of any goods at home due to Covid-19, I am forced to read eARCs and pdfs of books that I wanted to buy but the best part of all this is that almost all the books are free in India and I love India a lot for this.

So allow me to tell you the series I want to start and don’t judge me if you see that I haven’t started reading the most famous series.

The 5 series are:

1. A Song Of Ice & Fire.

A Song Of Ice & Fire by George R.R Martin.

Now let me inform you all that I have never watched Game Of Thrones and I didn’t even know about it until I set foot in India. India has this crazy “fan stuff” going on about this book series and its tv series. But I am none of them. I used to live in the posh capital of Uganda named Kampala leading a normal girl life with limited friends who didn’t read at all then I shifted to Rwanda and Congo’s border town Gisenyi, it was more like a village so I didn’t know about this series. The day I set foot in India, I found out about it and now I get the crazy ‘are you an NRI or an alien?? How can you not know such a famous book??’ Look. I really want to start this series, I mean I don’t care about people but if people love it so much, it must have something in it, right???

Have you read this series?? If yes, please comment and tell me what is the story and should I read it??

2. Hobbit & The Lord Of The Rings Series.

The Hobbit & The Lord Of The Rings Series by J.R.R Tolkien.

I love the Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings movies a lot. The only problem is that I haven’t read it and I believe that reading provides more information about the imaginary world created by the author than the movie itself. I have been saving up a lot of money to buy this series but before I could order…Covid-19 happened. So now I will be reading the pdf version of this series as soon as I find it then I will buy it when delivery service opens. 😁❤

3. A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.

Oooh, I love this author. I don’t know why but this man is in my heart. I have been dying to read all his novels. I remember when I was first intrigued by his mystery book named All The Wrong Questions. It was a fantabulous time. I wanted to read it but had no time because I had 7 am- 5 pm school and the books were very expensive. I am so looking forward to starting this series and all the other books written by this author. This story has been turned into a movie, TV series and recently into a Netflix Original Series. I am so in love with the movie but I haven’t watched the series yet although I might start soon. So yup I am officially dying to start this series.

4. Truly Devious Series.

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson.

As you all know that I am a crazy fan of mystery/thrillers, so there was no way I could avoid this series. Truly devious has been in praises for a long time. I am loving the mystery part it has in it and I really want to start it. With only 3 books to read in it, I think this will be an easy binge reading series. It does look great though.

Have you read it?? What are your thoughts on this series??

5. The Asylum Series.

The Asylum series by Madeleine Roux.

If you know me for at least a few months you will definitely know that I am a horror addict. Ghosts are like my buddies. Before Covid-19, we used to sit together and drink cranberry juice (can’t say wine because I am a Muslim). Now, this much nonsense is enough to show you how big a horror addict I am. This is the series that gives me stares in my family and friends. I have a horrendously big family and when I tell them about all the not so famous horror books I have read, they get shocked when they hear that I haven’t read the asylum series. Some even dare to laugh. So I have to read this series to get a certified horror addict tag. Well, I am reading it just for myself but still, I hate people laughing at me. 😡😡

Ok, so that’s it, people. Those were the 5 series I am willing to start soon. I hope you liked my post and enjoyed reading it. I know there are many old series. But the new series will join when I am done with the old ones so enjoy reading, until then…

      1. That’s a great series as well. I used to host parties at the library for each book release. I did the same for Harry Potter.😊
