We all write blogs a lot but don’t we feel like let’s talk about ourselves too? Bloggers are sometimes bored with extra writing and need a break from all the stuff but can’t stop writing and so was invented Tags. I really wanted to talk about myself because I am bored so it’s blogging time with tags. I was challenged by one of my viewers and blogging friends, Nikita to do this tag so allow me to present to you my crazy ideas.

Hello and welcome to my blog: Magical BookLush.
I am very excited for this tag because after it’s posted Nikita will laugh her guts out. ๐ the answers to these questions are the funniest ones I have ever written on my blog so get ready to laugh. ๐

Let’s start, shall we?
1. Have you ever re-gifted a book you have been gifted??

Ok, this is a very crazy question. I have not gifted a book gifted to me but I have recommended them and I did do something crazy. I actually gifted a book I borrowed from the library to my brother because I was scared that the due date was over before a month and the strict librarian will insult me. I know that’s insane, sorry?
2. Have you ever said youโve read a book when you havenโt?

I actually have. I always have to lie because of my friend circle. I have a lot of bookworms and they talk about books especially romantic books. That makes me go all crazy and angry. I just nod and listen to their conversation. It feels so weird. I literally feel like a two-faced alien. This is the only reason I started this 88 classics challenge to avoid this everyday hassle.
3. Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it?

Yes, I used to have a very strict librarian and borrowing books from him was always a challenge especially when I was his frequent visitor in Africa. 2 times every week and sometimes 3 if the book was small. He hated me, I know that for sure. So I borrowed a book and suddenly my parents decided to leave for India. We stayed for a month and I got so scared I gifted it to my brother๐๐. Then I came back and told him I gave it back a long time ago. My first lie. ๐๐ please don’t hate me.
4. Have you ever read a series out of order?

You are asking me??? I am the dumbest person on this earth. I started a Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket with the last book. I started the Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde with the 2nd book. I started divergence series by Tony Ballantyne by the 2nd book and got confused and hated the book, then I found out about the series and laughed my head off. There are so many of these crazy things I do. This is just a trailer. Don’t ask for more you will go crazy. ๐
5. Have you ever spoiled a book for someone?

No never. I am never so crazy to do so. Although I sometimes do it for my enemies and best friend๐. Just because they tease me that I don’t know a certain author or book. I do it to torture them. I love to ruin my bestie’s favourite book if she disturbs me while reading. It’s just so much fun to torture her๐๐.
6. Have you ever dog-eared a book?

Yes, but that was when I was very young like 10 years old. Now I use beautiful bookmarks that help me read. I hate big dog-earing my books. It’s just so selfish for us to hurt the beautiful and lovely books that gave us such great imaginations. I love the idea of bookmarks more than dog ears.
7. Have you ever told someone you donโt own the books when you do?

Nah, I am very open to this stuff. My cousin started reading books because of me. I really liked it and gave her my books. As long as people are encouraged to read, I will definitely give it to them. Reading is very essential for all of us and I totally support it. So yeah I don’t lie about this stuff
8. Have you ever skipped a chapter or a section of the book?

No, I will complete the book however bad it is. I don’t know what it is and that’s why it takes me time to finish books because they are bad or maybe I am hesitant to finish that book but in one way or the other I don’t skip chapters and sections of books.
9. Have you ever bad-mouthed a book you actually liked?

No, never. I am very firm in my opinions. Nobody tells me what to say or talk. If I like a book, it’s awesome and if I don’t, it’s not. Too firm to lie about anything whether it’s a book or anything else.
10. Have you ever told someone you havenโt read a book when you have?

Nope, not lying about this thing. It’s good and awesome that I have read a book they haven’t. ๐

So that’s it for today. Comment and tell me the challenge you want me to do. I recommend this challenge to everyone who likes this kind of challenges and please, tag me so that I can read your answers too.

Iโm so sorry you had such a mean librarian. I wish I had been your childrenโs librarian. I would have let you take out as many books as you wanted!๐ค๐๐๐๐

For years I used to fold the corner down of a book to mark my place, but now I use bookmarks. I used to work in a library, and the librarian used to go knocking on people’s doors who hadn’t returned books on time. It’s a wonder he was never assaulted.

I have 2 bookmarks that I got for free but my God, they are awesome. I wish you were my librarian. At least I wouldn’t have to do bad stuff to get out of problems. Btw are you a good and sweet librarian? He shouldn’t be assaulted but complained. He is bad.

I last worked in a library back in 1982 and left due to pregnancy. I’ve now been a medical secretary for the past 17 years.

I wasn’t even born at that time. How is your job?? Do you have fun doing it?? Do you see the difference between working in a library and a medical secretary??
LikeLiked by 1 person
They’re both serving the public, but with the medical secretary’s role you get more interruptions! Also working in a library you’re on your feet more all day, but my current job is more sitting down, which suits me at my age!

Hmm… Well, I am not in science but I do love doctor stuff. Libraries are awesome. I love reading books and I think the others would have to do self-service. ๐๐๐

This is very entertaining, Susan. I left my answers over at Beetley Pete’s because I read his post first. Mine are quite different to yours.

1. Have you ever re-gifted a book you have been gifted? No, because once I have read it, it might have a crumb or two of food in it as I love eating and reading at the same time. Somebody I gifted it too would then know I’ve read their present first!
2. Have you ever said youโve read a book when you havenโt? No, in case I was asked awkward questions about it that I couldn’t answer.
3. Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it? When I worked in a library I did once, and then I forgot I had it and found it years later. It was a book about pregnancy and childbirth. I was pregnant at the time and once I’d had the first baby I was too busy to read.
4. Have you ever read a series out of order? I don’t usually read series. I’d get bored with the same characters.
5. Have you ever spoiled a book for someone? By telling them the story? Ooh er, maybe…
6. Have you ever dog-eared a book? I used to fold down the corner to mark my place, but now I use a book mark.
7. Have you ever told someone you donโt own the books when you do? No.
8. Have you ever skipped a chapter or a section of the book? Often, if I’m bored with the story.
9. Have you ever bad-mouthed a book you actually liked? No.
10. Have you ever told someone you havenโt read a book when you have? Loads of times when I was younger, but now I’m too old for anybody to bother about what I’m reading!

I loved your answers. I am glad you liked. Wait you are a story spoiler?? ๐๐๐I gotta be alert around you. ๐๐๐ I am glad you use bookmarks and remember, if we ever meet, I am not lending you my book. Don’t want crumbs on it. ๐๐

I don’t do it because I am a messy eater and I love my books more than my own life. I could die for a small book.๐ฅฐ๐I can’t dirty them or even do anything bad with them.
